The Pune connect in Badrinath

We were at Badrinath. The weather was cold with light showers further dropping the temperature. We had a fantastic darshan at the temple. While returning to the accommodation, there were quite a number of stalls selling masala milk. If you're unaware, it is full cream milk reduced by cooking it for an elongated duration and adding loads of dry fruits to it. This is specifically made in places with lesser temperatures. A glass full of masala milk was filling enough. Now this is something me and my dad relish, not something that tempts mom. It was 6:20om and we had our breakfast at 8:30am. Mom was supposed to eat. Belief in God

I firmly believe God resides within your own self. Do what gives you happiness and peace, God will always be by your side. Having said that, I don't quite believe in visiting temples neither do I enjoy trekking.  Mom said she wanted to go on a teen dham yatra covering Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath. We obey what is being told. I was going to mom's place for my annual summer break (another one in winter too 😉). We planned the trip and embarked on the journey. The first dham was yamunotri. It has a 6km trek with quite steep ascent throughout the route with the last half a km of descent. We started the trek at 4am. It was a rocky terrain. Mom tried but due to her knees and the recent injury on the foot, she couldn't continue. There's a ram mandir at 2 km. She decided to stop there and let me continue with dad. It was tricky.
